Whoops… you’re not supposed to be here.
I know that this site is public, but I’m just playing around figuring out how wordpress works. This site is not finished and may not ever BE finished. It’s really just for me. But I made it public for convenience hoping that nobody will ever stumble across it. I know that barely and of the links work and that there is really no content. Trust me, I know.
When I discovered microprocessors (starting with the arduino platform) it opened up a whole new world to me and I’ve been adding lights, sounds, and motion to my projects ever since.
I’ve been using individually addressable RGB LEDs to animate props and costumes for a while. Some are battery powered props and costumes controlled with an arduino, some are larger projects which run with a Raspberry Pi and a separate controller.

From about 1996 to 2013 I designed and made annual holiday cards for friends and family. They were all elaborate, mostly kinetic (think popup cards although most were different).
After discovering the arduino, getting a 3d printer was the next thing that completely changed what I can make and how I approach prop building.
I’ve built lots of stilts over the years, and lots of props to go along with the stilt characters, and some giant puppets too.
Not everything I make belongs in the other categories. I’ll see if this is a useful category to contain other things I make.
